ATHENS: Saudi Ambassador to Greece and Bulgaria Saleh Momammad Al-Ghamdi held a reception and painting exhibition on Friday for Saudi artists who were visiting Greece. The exhibition included a number of works by Saudi women, which were highly appreciated by the visitors who attended the evening.
The ambassador invited fellow ambassadors and a large number of dignitaries.
In his speech during the event, the ambassador referred to the important role assumed by young Saudi women in their society and their efforts to project their country's development and advancement in every field and sector through their art, which is intended to change misperception of Saudi women in the West.
The exhibition and the reception was attended by eight women artists together with the director of the Saudi Association for Culture and Arts in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom, Ibrahim Bin Youssef Omar.
