JEDDAH: Hail Gov. Prince Saud bin Abdul Mohsen inaugurated a branch of Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) in Hail, located in Barzan district.
The new Hail branch is the seventh branch of the organization. The first BRJ branch was launched in mid-2007 at Sary Street in Jeddah which was followed by Riaydh and Dammam branches in 2008.
This year, the second and third BRJ branches in Jeddah were opened at Al-Kandara and Al-Samer districts, followed by the sixth BRJ branch in Makkah.
Bab Rizq Jameel is part of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs (ALJCSP).
As the main BRJ branch in Hail, the new center will be the main outlet for job creation programs. It holds a database on job opportunities available with local private companies, as well as lists of job seekers.
The new BRJ center offers interest-free finance to small projects and productive families.
Jobs are also created through taxi and truck ownership programs, in addition to diversified opportunities through franchise programs. It is expected that the new branch will create 300 job opportunities per month and will offer 34 outlets for rent at areas and periods suitable for owners of small projects.
The outlets will be used for different enterprises, including fashion design, makeup and perfumes, handmade products, clothes, equipment and ladies accessories.
During the opening ceremony, the governor appreciated the owners of those projects, mentioning their creative ideas that could be developed.
Prince Saud also thanked Mohammed Jameel for his social initiatives toward the community. “I am really impressed by the achievements that I saw during the opening ceremony,” said the governor.
“It is obvious that Hail girls and women are full of energy and they are eager to have employment opportunities.
“I am happy to open Bab Rizq Jameel branch here. My friend, Engineer Mohammed Jameel, is considered a first-class community servant. I have to say that BRJ has made a quality progress in the area of social work, not only in the Kingdom but also in the Arab countries,” the governor said.
