ABHA: A Saudi man claims to have discovered a razor blade in the bread he bought from a supermarket in Abha, the daily Shams reported yesterday. Shocked at the discovery, the man decided to check the chicken he bought from the same supermarket and found out that it was sold past its expiration date. The man immediately filed a complaint at the municipality to report the problem, and probably decided to reconsider his choice of supermarket.
Disgruntled man divorces wife in Grand Mosque
JEDDAH: A man decided he couldn’t take it anymore and divorced his wife on the spot, the spot being at the Marwa Gate of the Grand Mosque of Makkah. After a boisterous argument between the man and woman, with complete disregard to the sacredness of the house of worship, the man initiated his right to impulsively divorce his wife by declaring the marriage null and void right there and then, according to a report in Al-Madinah daily on Friday.
