Taif is ready to tackle swine flu

TAIF: The Health Affairs in Taif is coordinating with the Ministry of Education regarding all swine flu developments in the province, said Saeed Al-Zahrani, spokesman at the Health Affairs in Taif.

Al-Zahrani added that the Health Affairs has completed training male and female teachers on how to deal with the disease and that health centers in the region have also been trained on how to deal with the illness.

“The Health Affairs has finished distributing flyers and posters to schools to increase awareness among pupils. Teachers have also been trained on how to discover cases of swine flu and isolate pupils who have the illness. Teachers who have been trained have passed on what they have learned to other teachers at their schools,” he added.
