Hijaz XI, Barracuda Arabia score easy wins

JEDDAH: Hijaz XI were victorious against Usfan XI by 64 runs in the Premier Division second week match, which was organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) and sponsored by The Initial Landscaping Company Arabia Ltd.

In the other match, Barracuda Arabia got the better of Pak Young by five wickets.

At JCA ground No. 6, Hijaz XI batted first. Talha (24) and Wajid (16) laid the foundation for their team.

But it was Athar who stole the limelight scoring 77 runs of 37 balls. Sadath was the other who did well with 28 runs to his credit.

Hijaz scored 192 for 6 in their allotted overs. However, Usfan managed to total only 128 for the loss of 5 wickets in 18 overs.

At JCA ground No. 5, Pak Young, who batted first made 145 runs for 6 against Barracuda Arabia.

Barracuda were successful in reaching their target of 147 for 5 in 14.5 overs.
