RIYADH: The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), comprising 11 top caliber Taiwanese PV suppliers, will arrive here on Friday on a four-day visit. It includes the world’s leading solar cell makers.
The delegation members — to be headed by Cecile Wang, general manager of Lotron Industries, with Kasper Lin as deputy delegation leader — aim to introduce the latest PV products and technologies and build close business partnerships with Saudi counterparts.
Earlier, another Taiwanese delegation that participated in the Saudi Packing, Printing, Plastic and Petrochemicals exhibition also visited the Kingdom.
The group will hold a meeting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 7) at the Room La Fountain of the Riyadh Palace Hotel and from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce on Sunday (Nov. 8).
The delegation will present the most innovative and highest quality PV products and technologies, including solar cells, solar modules, thin film solar modules, BIPV, PV connectors, battery chargers, inverters, and solar system services, as well as renewable energy application products such as solar street lamps, solar traffic lamps, LED lightings, wind power and water power applications.
