Thieves arrested in Riyadh

Riyadh: Police in Riyadh arrested two men who were robbing a store in the capital. Police entered the plumbing shop and found the two men pretending to own the store. On questioning, the men began to panic and officers noticed that the shop’s locks had been broken.

The men confessed to breaking into the store, trying to steal electrical cables and robbing a vehicle for the crime. The men were taken to Al-Sahafa Police Station for further questioning.

In another incident, police arrested an Arab man on Sunday who had in his car a stolen cash till. SR1,300, weapons and tools used to rob stores were also found in the man’s possession.
