JEDDAH: A fine knock of 100 by Syed Kaleem helped ACC score a comfortable 114-run win over Bupa during the 9th week of the Division II cricket league sponsored by by Al Harazi contracting & Trading Establishment and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association.
Batting first at ground No, 2, ACC scored 219 from their allotted 18 overs.
Kaleem stole the limelight hitting a ton (13x4, 4x6) and was ably supported by Haroon Abdullah who scored a brisk 50 (5x4, 1x6).
In reply Bupa were bowled out for 105 with Toufiq being the highest scorer with 29 runs. Jaleel took 3 wickets.
In the other match, Junaid Butt took 4 for 14 including a hat trick and a fine unbeaten 69 by Zeeshan Butt enabled Butt Sports beat NCB by nine wickets.
NCB batting first scored 113. Tariq top-scored with 26 runs. Junaid Butt took 4 for 14.
In reply the Butts Sports notched up 118 for 1 in 10.3 overs.
In the third match of the day at JCA-ground No.6 Ghudaid batting first scored 128 for 7 in the allotted 18 overs. Babar made 36, Abid 27, Usman 23. Mustafa and Moiz took 2 wickets.
In reply the KAIA reached the target 131 for 3 in 14.3 overs and won the match by 7 wickets.
Opener Mukhtar who scored 41 and Rubail 40 not out did their best.
