Teenager caught for girl’s murder
MADINAH: Police arrested on Wednesday a teenager in connection with the murder of a six-year-old girl in Al-Shaij village in Mahd Al-Dhahab in Madinah province. The 18-year-old boy allegedly lured the girl to a lonely place and beat her to death with a tent pole, according to a police statement. “He covered her with some clothes and called her father saying that he saw a stranger in a wadi in suspicious circumstances and that the man fled when he saw the boy. The suspect told the father that when he went to that location he found the body of the girl. However, after intensive interrogation the boy admitted that he killed her,” spokesman of Madinah police Brig. Mohsen Al-Raddadi said in a statement.
17-year-old stabs man to death
QATIF: A 17-year-old boy reportedly stabbed a 41-year-old man to death, who was joy riding on a crowded street in the Umm Al-Hamam town in Qatif, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported on Wednesday. Police said the boy killed Shukri Ridwan, 41, because he did not like the man advising him not to speed on crowded roads. The knife pierced the victim’s heart and the death occurred immediately, according to police. The boy rushed with the man’s body to hospital but doctors could not save his life. The boy was arrested.
