The father of the child told police that the man had sexually abused the boy several times and had told the boy to keep it a secret. The alleged crime was discovered when the boy’s mother saw its evidence on his clothes. The boy’s father then filed a case against the imam. The imam reportedly confessed to the crime. The spokesman said such incidents often take place as a result of the negligence of the family who put confidence in some people who do not deserve it.
He urged all parents to take care of their children and not to hesitate to tell police about such incidents.
