The event, entitled “The Global Legal Framework to Combat Terrorism and its Finance,” is being organized by the General Commission for Investigation and Public Prosecution and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the Middle East.
Topics such as the Kingdom’s experience in combating terrorism, the UAE’s anti-terror legislation and the efforts of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in fighting terrorism are also to be discussed at the event.
Meanwhile, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Center for Political Violence and Terrorism Research at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Dr. Abdul Aziz Saqr Al-Ghamdi, rector of Naif Arab Univers ity, said the two parties will cooperate in conducting joint scientific studies, exchanging research, and attending conferences and training in the study of political violence and combating terrorism.
Al-Ghamdi said the memorandum will be added to more than 115 memorandums of understanding already signed by Naif Arab University with universities and organizations across the world.
