Government spokesman Nabil Sharif on Monday called Humam Khalil Abu Mulal Al-Balawi's accusations in a posthumous video appearing on militant websites, “mere lies.” Al-Balawi, who blew himself up at a CIA facility in Afghanistan Dec. 30, said Jordan had provided information for the killing of Al-Qaeda in Iraq chief Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, top Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh and Al-Qaeda scholar Abdullah Azzam.
Mughniyeh died in a car bomb in Syria in 2008, while Azzam was also killed by one in Pakistan in 1989.
Jordan has admitted it provided information leading to aAl-Zarqawi's death in a 2006 US airstrike.
