Like many young boys, the 26-year-old dreamed of making it big in the game but was let go by Wimbledon Football Club, a moment he describes as “horrible.”
He advised Saudi kids to keep their heads up if they were struggling to make it as footballers.
“Just keep trying and if you do get let go by a club, don’t give up because so many players, so many professionals, have not made it and then gone on to another club and massive things. So don’t give up at the first hurdle,” he said.
