JEDDAH: Police arrested three thieves of Arab and African nationalities for stealing SR10,000, a mobile phone and gold ornaments from a Saudi citizen living in south Jeddah, the city’s police spokesman Col. Misfir Al-Juaid said on Friday. He said police moved quickly after being informed of the theft and were able to catch the three men. Two of them were staying in the Kingdom illegally. Al-Juaid added that an Asian thief who stole five water pumps from a Saudi resident in Al-Marwah district in north Jeddah was also caught. The spokesman warned citizens and residents not to employ illegal foreigners in their houses.
