“This special service will be available around the clock, seven days a week,” the SAGIA chief told Hail Gov. Prince Saud bin Abdul Mohsen when the latter visited King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh.
“We offer this service in order to make the Kingdom’s economic cities the most competent place in the world to attract investment,” Al-Dabbagh said. Other economic cities are located in Hail, Madinah and Jazan. SAGIA believes that the Kingdom’s economy would be propelled onto a whole new level with the construction of four integrated economic cities, which are estimated to cost more than $60 billion.
“This visionary development project will promote economic diversification, create over a million new job opportunities, homes for 4-5 million residents, and, most significantly, contribute $150 billion to the gross domestic product,” it said.
Each city will feature modern building designs, world-class services and infrastructure and ubiquitous connectivity. “These built-in advantages, combined with attractive investment incentives and a supportive regulatory environment will create significant competitive advantages for business,” it said.
