Fire kills two children in Jeddah

A five-year-old boy and his four-year-old brother died in the accident while their two siblings and parents sustained burns, Al Madinah daily reported.
The cause of the fire that swept through the family’s third-floor flat is still unknown. However, Civil Defense sources said the fire might have resulted from the explosion of firecrackers kept at their home. Investigations are ongoing, according to the director of Jeddah Civil Defense, Brig. Gen. Abdullah Al Jadawi.
