The owner of the world's tallest building said Sunday it is delaying the opening of a hotel inside designed by Giorgio Armani because the cloud of volcanic ash has snarled flights across Europe.
Burj Khalifa operator Emaar Properties says the Armani Hotel Dubai will now open April 27, not Wednesday as planned.
The luxury hotel will be the second part of the 2,717-foot (828-meter) tower to open to the public, after a 124th-floor observation deck that became operational in January.
