Sarawat pooled the top tally of 35 points, beating out D’ Barkads in the race for honors between two teams that had relied on a strong finish to get ahead of the pack. D’ Barkads returned 31 points but these were enough to move up to second place in standings behind new leader Sarawat which dislodged Salam Jasmine Race from the top spot.
Salam could only manage 25 points in fifth place on the night. Twister.Com came in third on 30.5 points followed by Ultrabowl 27.
Pacific Storm II compiled 23.5 points with Cool Change on 18. Pin Headz, Escalera and Clear Shampoo were the last three teams on 13, 10 and 7 points.
Voi Ycong of Twister.Com carded the high series of 683 on lines of 200, 233 and 208 to become the Bowler of the Week. Igna Salgado, Nick Gozun and Jhune Estefano rolled complete games of 586, 580 and 556 at the vanguard of a Sarawat charge that also featured contributions from Dennis Alvarado 243-232, Archie Santos 158-234 and Cesar Monares 186-202.
Sarawat had the top overall output of 3,037 and was the winner of the second game while D’ Barkads took the third and last thanks in large part to the duo of Leo Edejer and Mark Hernandez who drilled 667 and 636.
Complementing Edejer and Hernandez’s efforts were Dan Ednave 584, Nanding Siasoco 557, Mio Centeno 151-195 and Obie Ycasas 168.
Alex Flora at 609 was the other player to breach the 600-series at Twister in addition to Ycong, while Willie Ansis and Arnold Biblanas hit 559 and 539. Ernie Geslani had 196-198 and Rudy Punzalan added 169. Joel Nidoy and Vic Pagayon led Ultrabowl with rounds of 642 ad 614 while Asker Mohammad showed the way with 604 at Salam Rice.
Pacific Storm II relied on the single set of five players in Abet Durado 609, Atoi Cruz 585, Manny Tibay 583, Ray Thompson 580 and Gary Misa 539.
