No nation can justify a blatant violation of international law, indiscriminate killing of civilians and besieging of millions including women and children. The brutal action of state of Israel has once again challenged the conscience of international community, damaged the peace efforts, and has made Muslims and Jews of Holy Land more susceptible to mistrust and violence.
WCMP offers condolences to the families of victims, and supports the calls of United Nations Security Council and Human Rights Council, The Organization of Islamic Conference and the European Union, for an independent inquiry of the incident and lifting of the blockade of Gaza.
WCMP also looks toward United States for its impartial and determined role in facilitating concrete steps towards the two-state solution.
