Suspect brains behind Berlin poker heist on trial

Poker tournament participant Mohammed Abou-Charka, 29, is accused of of plotting the March 6 heist, while Ibrahim al Moussa, 31, is charged with organizing four young men to carry out the robbery in which they made off with ¤242,000 ($312,000) in jackpot money. Only ¤4,000 has been recovered.
The pair could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
The four others have already been convicted of robbery and bodily harm and are expected to testify Friday.
Their trial, which opened Thursday, is expected to continue until November.
