In an editorial in “Saamna” published on Tuesday, Thackeray
said that Salman should take lessons from his family as how to behave. There is
no need to raise question or have any doubts about the patriotism of the Khan
family, Thackeray added.
“In the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai not only the elite
were trapped in the Taj and Trident hotels but several poor, middle class and
hotel staff were also trapped. It was a war declared by Pakistan against
India,” Thackeray stated in the editorial.
“The 26/11 terror attacks were a conspiracy by Pakistan to
hold the people hostages and force upon India to accept their demands. Some
years ago, the same kind of thing was repeated when Pakistani terrorists
attacked the Parliament in New Delhi. However, the security personnel laid down
their lives as martyrs but defended the country, due to which a big trouble was
averted,” Thackeray said.
“Looking into the reality of the 26/11, instead of harping
on to find out against whom the 26/11 terrorist attack was meant for, the exact
need is to keep in mind the conspiracy and plans of the attacks and launch
protest against Pakistan,” the Sena chief added.
Not
sparing the actor, Thackeray said “There was no need for Salman to give the
interview to the Pakistani news channel or any other Pakistani channel or print
media there, which has banned Indian channels and Indian music. However, Salman
is not responsible for making comments on the 26/11. Therefore Salman who
behaves irresponsibly, who crushed people to death in a state of drunken
driving, and one who talks about the 26/11, should take a lesson from his
father as how to talk and behave.”
