The meeting was attended by Intelligence chief Prince Muqrin, Saudi Ambassador to the UK Prince Muhammad bin Nawaf, and other officials.
Fox also met with Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif and discussed matters related to security. Prince Muhammad and other officials attended the meeting in Jeddah.
According to analysts, Fox was expected to discuss a long-stalled $31.6 billion fighter aircraft deal with Saudi officials. The original 2007 contract was for Britain's BAE Systems to provide Saudi Arabia with 72 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter aircraft, of which 48 were to be assembled inside the Kingdom by local companies.
