“Total quality should be guaranteed in any work, as it is a starting point in establishing a society based on information and knowledge,” said Director General of Boys’ Education in the Eastern Province Abdul Rahman Al-Madaires.
He was making the keynote address at the first nationwide forum involving the directors of follow-up administrations under the ministry. The forum was attended by 143 directors and other officials.
“It is with the aim of achieving better quality that the plans and programs are designed, establishments are re-engineered and its tools and mechanisms developed. The ministry also aims at implementing sustained growth and transformation into the development of a knowledge-based society. That is why the government has made the highest budget allocation for education,” Al-Madaires said.
He added that the forum’s prime goal was to streamline boys and girls’ education and facilitate an exchange of expertise between the directors of both administrations.
Director of the ministry’s follow-up administration Madawi Al-Asheikh said his department hoped to adopt strategies that would enable it to improve the performance of the department.
Director General of Girls’ Education Suhair Al-Imran proposed changing the name of the Administration for Issues of Education Employees to the “Administration for Affairs of Education Employees” to create a better impression on the public.
