The project will also provide them financial support to start their trade and thus end their poverty instead of waiting for charity from others, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
Prince Khaled had on an earlier occasion ordered the setting up of a committee to study the strategy of launching the project.
A supervising committee has been set up under the chairmanship of assistant undersecretary for development at the Makkah Governorate.
The committee will supervise the activities of the coordination committee and monitor the effectiveness of the project and ways to sidestep the obstacles in the successful implementation of the project. Iktifa will also enlist the participation of private sector and individuals in the implementation of the project.
Special attention will also be paid to avoid bureaucratic delay in the activities of the project, the press agency said.
