A source at the municipality said the current plastic dumpsters would be replaced by metal ones as the plastic ones are susceptible to fire and easily damaged. He added that the volume of waste in the city has increased by three folds due to an increase in population and a lack of public awareness. He also said the contractors are responsible for ensuring the city is kept clean at all times
