Alisherzai, a career officer, has been Pakistan's ambassador to the Kingdom for the last one year. Earlier, he served as his country's consul general and minister. He has also served in various senior positions at the ministry of foreign affairs in Pakistan. Prior to his posting to the Kingdom, he was additional secretary in the foreign office of Pakistan. Alisherzai has played an important role in cementing the bilateral relations. He worked for the uplift of the community and resolving their problems, and took keen interest in providing quality education for their children.
