"Suspicious Minds" debuted Monday as the first single off
"Viva Elvis-The Album," which is being released on Nov. 9.
The songs
on the album, slickly produced and arranged by Erich van Tourneau, use
thousands of samples of Elvis' music and voice that make up the raw material
for the Las Vegas show "Viva Elvis" by Cirque du Soleil.
Van Tourneau
also incorporated music elements like garage rock and hip-hop to spice up the
songs. Other re-worked songs on the album include "Blue Suede Shoes,"
"Burning Love," and «Love Me Tender."
