The accident occurred when the bus carrying the pilgrims overturned near Jamoom on the Old Makkah Road. The injured pilgrims have been taken to Hera and King Abdul Aziz hospitals in Makkah.
Meanwhile, an Eritrean girl, aged 10, died when her flat in Bawadi caught fire on Wednesday. Civil Defense officers put out the fire quickly to save the remaining members of the family. The mishap took place after the girl's little sister played with fire.
