The gang was busted while a committee in charge of following up the activities of domestic Haj service agents and companies in Tabuk raided the fake firm.
The committee found a large amount of money with the gang members, which they had collected from prospective pilgrims.
The gang members were ordered to pay back the amount to their victims.
The public prosecutor transferred their case to the court.
Brig. Saleh Al-Harbi, spokesman for Tabuk police, has warned the public against dealing with such fake Haj service offices. “People should make sure whether such offices are genuine and licensed before dealing with them,” he said.
