The siblings claim that the victim was stealing chickens from their house. The victim suffered severe injuries during the fight and was admitted to a nearby clinic while in a coma.
Police initially arrested two of the brothers for investigation, while the third one escaped. He was later arrested as he tried to flee to Makkah.
According to police sources, two of the three brothers took the victim to the clinic and claimed that he had fallen from the top of their house. A medical examination revealed that the boy had suffered from a vicious beating with marks all over his body and a severe head injury.
Police suspected the two brothers when questioning them. Eventually, they admitted that their 14-year-old brother hit the victim’s head with a rock.
