The boy is reportedly in good health and has been taken to Madinah Maternity and Children's Hospital.
Informed sources told Arab News that the son's father received a SMS message saying the child is in Azizia's Baeejan Park. "A relative of the child then went to the park and found the child there," one source said.
Police are now looking for the person who sent the message in order to find the culprit behind the kidnapping of the baby. The child is now with his mother at the hospital, the source said.
Security guards have prevented media persons from entering the hospital. Abdul Razak Hafiz, spokesman of health affairs, confirmed that authorities have found the baby. He said Madinah police chief and health director have visited the baby at the hospital.
Muhammad Al-Oufi, chairman of the Madinah branch of the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR), blamed lax security at the hospital for kidnapping the baby. The child's grandmother alleged a large dark woman with honey eyes - who frequently visited the room where the child and mother were - is behind the kidnapping.
Madinah Gov. Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed had ordered a search for the child. He has also ordered an investigation into the disappearance and for everyone connected to the hospital to be questioned.
