The court rejected Tuesday's appeal from the Board of Control for Cricket in India against a six-week stay to allow the Royals to take part in the Jan. 8-9 auction.
The verdict is similar to the one issued last week by the same court in favor of the Kings XI Punjab.
Both teams' IPL contracts were terminated by the BCCI on Oct. 10 for alleged breaches.
The court requested the Royals submit their ownership details, deposit a security of $2.8 million and file an affidavit stating they are in control of their various subsidiary companies.
