Official spokesman for Al-Jouf police Col. Daman Al-Daran said that the police department received a report of an unknown body found in the area north of Skaka.
Teams from the forensic department went to the location and examined the body. It was hard to identify because it was partly decomposed.
Police took samples from the father of the missing boy and matched it perfectly with those taken from the body. Police did not find any sign of foul play on the body and early results showed that the boy died from thirst. Police are still investigating.
