The Saudi drivers allegedly smuggled in the illegal foreigners in their private cars after taking huge fees from them, Border Guards spokesman in Asir Col. Abdullah Al-Hamran told Arab News.
Meanwhile, Border Guards seized 17 kilograms of hashish from smugglers across the Saudi/Yemeni border. After spotting the guards, the smugglers fled to the Yemeni side of the border, leaving the contraband behind.
