Father hands to police son suspected in expat's murder

The Bangladeshi was shot in the chest by an unidentified young man on a motorbike. Although the shooting was witnessed by a number of people, no one could provide details of the shooter, the motorbike or its plate number.However, police recently arrested a number of young men following a street brawl in Al-Sehli district of Taif; some of those involved were on motorbikes. Two of those arrested, who were drunk at the time, told police about the shooting of the Bangladeshi doorkeeper without being asked.They then explained that they knew who shot the Bangladeshi. They said they were drinking alcohol near the place where the shooting took place along with another group of men and that when the Bangladeshi came out with a knife thinking they were thieves, one of them shot him in the chest and drove off on a motorcycle.Realizing that his friends had been arrested and that it will only be a matter of time before he is also arrested, the killer informed his father who took him to a police station.
