A Bexar (BAYR) County jury restored the crown and sash to Ramirez on Thursday after 11½ hours of deliberations. She had accused pageant organizers of taking the title wrongly from her.
Pageant director Linda Woods called the verdict “an injustice for the city of San Antonio” and a bad example to other young people. She added that “there’s no way I would represent her as talent. She’s trouble.”
