“But there is a need to exert more efforts to enhance customers’ awareness about local and international investment potentials and to assist them in taking the right investment decision,” said Dr Saleh Al Suhaibani, chief of the Al-Rajhi Capital research team.
Al Suhaibani said Al Rajhi Capital would provide professional financial advice and assist investors in developing their investments and savings through the exploration of suitable investment opportunities.
Al Suhaibani was speaking during a seminar for investors organized by Al-Rajhi Capital. In fact, Al-Rajhi Capital, the investment banking subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Rajhi Bank, has launched a program under which eight investment seminars are being organized across the Kingdom.
A seminar will be held on April 2 in Jeddah at Al-Rajhi Capital Center, while another seminar will be organized in Dammam on April 23.
These seminars will be followed by similar events in Buraidah on Apirl 30 and Abha on May 7.
The seminars are aimed at helping investors and clients of Al-Rajhi Capital better understand and navigate the financial markets locally and in the region in light of the dramatic changes seen across MENA since the start of 2011.
Speaking on this occasion, Gaurav Shah, CEO of Al-Rajhi Capital, said: “Our centers are now fully equipped to offer our clients with access to Al-Rajhi Capital’s market leading range of investment products and services.”
The mission is to provide customers with high quality investment banking products and services tailor made to meet their particular requirements, he added.
He said “our investments comply with the guidelines of Al-Rajhi Capital’s Shariah Board.”
Shah, who leads the Al-Rajhi Capital Asset Management, one of the largest fund managers in Saudi Arabia, also spoke about the stock market performance and gave an assessment of the economic outlook. He said that all seminars were open to the general public.
Al-Rajhi Capital is the investment banking subsidiary arm of Al-Rajhi Bank, the largest commercial bank in the GCC in terms of market capitalization and the world’s largest Islamic bank.
