The military said Monday that the explosion wounded two officers and four sergeants on Saturday near a military outpost in the town of Idil in Sirnak province, close to the Iraqi border.
The blast followed clashes on Friday. Turkish troops killed seven Kurdish rebels near the town of Hassa on the Syrian border, while Kurdish rebels killed one soldier and wounded five others in an attack on a military outpost in the southern town of Hasanbeyli.
Clashes have picked up since the rebels, fighting for autonomy in the southeast, ended a six-month-long cease-fire last month.
