They will be sent abroad under the King Abdullah Foreign Scholarship Program.
The program will be executed by Al-Jazeera International Academy and supervised by TVTC in Makkah province. Supervisor of the program Ali bin Saad Al-Ahmari said 98 male and 10 female instructors from Jeddah, Riyadh and Alkhobar qualified for the scholarships.
He said they were mostly holders of diplomas or graduates of higher education institutions.
“They will be sent out to obtain bachelor’s degrees as part of TVTC’s strategy to provide its trainers with academic qualifications and training skills in order to contribute to the development of human resources in the Kingdom,” he said.
He recalled that in its first stage, the program sent 439 trainers for studies abroad and 429 in its second phase. These trainers are now studying in different countries.
“These trainers are now studying in Britain, Ireland, Australia, Canada, South Korea and the United States,” Al-Ahmari said.
