A Saudi victim said somebody hit his Toyota FG from behind while he was driving through North Riyadh streets. There were three people inside the Toyota Corolla that hit the jeep.
When the driver got out of his vehicle to see the damage, an individual who was inside the Corolla jumped into the jeep's driving seat and drove away. The Saudi then quickly informed police who relayed the message to other security officers around the city.
"Within a few minutes patrol police saw the stolen Toyota jeep being driven by another Saudi. When the thief saw the police he drove away with high speed but police were able to stop him," a security source said.
The Honda car was stolen after its owner kept it on and went to a nearby supermarket to buy something. A thief, who was looking for an opportunity, took the car and ran away. Police later found the stolen vehicle with two thieves inside.
Security agents are now investigating the criminals who were behind the car thefts.
