The new branch is the 10th in the Kingdom of Bab Rizq Jameel network, an initiative of ALJ Community Services Program. Two weeks ago, the ninth BRJ branch was inaugurated in Jazan.
The new branch is the main BRJ center in the area, and will offer several job-creation programs. In addition, the new center will provide a database of job opportunities in private companies as well as names of applicants who are seeking jobs.
BRJ will provide training ending with employment  in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and interest-free loans through the small projects finance and productive household programs.
BRJ Khamis Mushayt will also create more job opportunities through the taxi and truck ownership program and franchise program. The center is planning to create 200 job opportunities every month through its diversified programs.
During the opening ceremony, Jameel said: “We truly appreciate the outstanding small projects we see, and the great and creative ideas that could be developed. Using this opportunity, I would like to thank the HRDF, Saudi Credit and Saving Bank and Asir governorate for their unlimited and continuous support to BRJ programs.”
Abdullah Saleh Al-Zahrani, the local BRJ director, stated that branch has created 4,288 job opportunities from 2006 to March 2011. Al-Zahrani added that the branch is seeking to create 200 job opportunities a month through its 14-member staff, who include six males and eight females in separate divisions for men and women.
During the first four months of 2011, BRJ successfully created 16,324 job opportunities, which is up 28 percent from the previous year.
