‘Cabinet’ of students at IISJ takes charge

The members took their oath of office, which was administered by P. Noufal, headmaster of the IX-XII block. Principal Ahmed, Ayoob Shaikh, examination controller, Najeeb Qais, vice principal, Rasheed Farooqui, headmaster of VI-VIII block, and C.P. Joy, headmaster of open school, decorated the members with badges of honors.
The newly appointed head boy Dawood Arif, in his maiden speech, emphasized the need to prioritize things for bringing out the best in academic and cocurricular activities. Students in charge of houses and clubs were conferred their duties by the principal. In the prefect investiture session, head boy Arif administered the oath office for the class prefects.
A presentation titled “The Message By The Cabinet'' was the highlight of the day. The slideshow depicted the disintegrating state of affairs in the present day world. It highlighted the 16 virtuous qualities of the 16 Cabinet members in order to transform the world into a better place to live. The presentation won a standing ovation from the audience. Literary secretary Motasim Syed Mazhar gave a speech, while Vazim Latheef, assistant head boy, proposed a vote of thanks. The program began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an.
