The commissioning of the e-portal was held at the ministry premises in the presence of the deputy ministers of health and senior officials.
“The launch is a significant landmark in the march toward e-government,” Al-Rabeeah said, explaining that the new portal will help people with all the necessary information in the field of health care in the Kingdom.
Health Ministry spokesman Khaled Al-Mirghalani described the site as comprehensive.
“It has been designed to offer advice and assistance on all health care services found in the Kingdom,” he said, adding that even the foreign Umrah and Haj pilgrims could access this site to avail themselves of the quarantine measures to be followed when entering the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
Al-Mirghalani said the site would also give a list of vacancies available at the ministry.
The website explains how to find health-care facilities in the country, has a feedback section and gives licensing instructions, among other services.
