The 215-page colorful book in English starts with a quote from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah: “Let us succeed! Let us be a model and a symbol for others.”
The book highlights the milestones of every facet in the Kingdom’s boom and the companies that have played major roles in the country's development, innovation and success.
Hani Salman, the head of Pronto, the marketing company which launched the publication, said the book is an indispensable resource for those who want to know all about the Kingdom’s economic development. The book covers the Kingdom’s history since its establishment.
Salman pointed out that the book comes at the right time, when an aggressive investment strategy is being pursued in the Kingdom since King Abdullah came to power as the king in 2005.
“The strategy, which focuses on long-term planning and opening the doors for national and international investors, has so far helped the Kingdom jump from number 79 on the Ease of Doing Business index to number 11, putting it in the middle of the 20 nations with the world’s largest economies,” Salman said.
