Traveling for business or holiday should be exciting and a great adventure but travel needs time and very careful planning or it can easily turn in to a stressful experience.

Pre-departure preparation is important because long haul flights means lots of sitting in one position for long periods and eating and hanging around. The week before you travel get plenty of exercise, eat healthy fresh food and drink loads of water in preparation for a long haul flight so you start the trip really healthy.
It is very difficult to find simple healthy food at airports or on airplanes as food has to be prepared in advance and the food provided has to suit the tastes of all the passengers. Once you are on board the plane feel free to indulge in the ready-made in-flight meals. It is part of the flying experience and it is so nice to be sitting down and be waited on after all the rush of packing and getting to the airport. I believe in healthy eating 90 percent of the time but once on the plane feel free to enjoy the food and being waited on. You deserve it.
On long flights you do not always know what, when or even if you will be fed so it is always good to eat when you are given food. It is part of the experience of flying and part of your vacation.
It is a good idea to travel with a large bottle of water and some healthy snacks especially if you travel with children. The air in airplanes is dry, so try to limit coffee and tea.  Drink mainly water to avoid becoming dehydrated.

Keep an up-to-date travel list of all that you need to do before you travel and everything you need to pack. Make your travel plans carefully, and double check arrangements and baggage restrictions to avoid any airport stress. When traveling, decide to relax and be patient and stay calm. Regardless of what goes wrong you will always find staff more helpful if you are calm and polite. If you are a nervous traveler, say a prayer and then relax, as there is no point in worrying once you are on the plane.

Timing is everything and it is always better to arrive early for your plane than rushing to the airport and arriving late. If you check in online or early you will have time to relax before your flight. Always wear comfortable clothing to travel in but always look your best.

Try to get some fresh air and exercise before your flight. Keeping mobile on the flight is vital especially if you are on a long-haul flight. Walk the aisles to prevent blood circulation problems and swelling in the legs, which can be dangerous for older travellers. Take off your shoes and rotate your ankles and wriggle your toes. Lift and lower your shoulders and circle your hands from your wrists.

Most people don't have any problems when they fly, but it's always best to be prepared. Carry enough of all of your medicines to last your whole trip in your carry-on luggage. Take extra medicine with you in case your return trip is delayed. If you have diabetes or epilepsy, carry a notification and identification card. Have the name and phone number of your doctor with you in case of an emergency. Remember to bring along the names and dosages of all of your medicines. Carry healthy snacks with you, as you do not know your meal times on the flight.

My 28-year-old husband is balding from the sides and on the back of the head, on the lines of Prince William. He also suffers from few strands of white hair and dandruff. Numerous visits to dermatologists have not been able to arrest the hair fall. What would you suggest? Should he consider hair transplants later and how good or bad is that?

A lot of men's hair loss is caused by tension stored in the scalp that restricts vital blood and nutrients to the hair follicles. The simple treatment to ease this is Permea Plus Hair Repair Massage Oil. Massage the scalp with this 3 times a week to maximize the scalp's flexibility and release tension to the hair follicles. This will have a great effect at promoting healthy hair growth. He should also make sure he has a healthy diet and should take a pharmaceutical grade hair, skin and nails supplement. This will help prevent further hair loss and promote strong, healthy growth. I would try this first before considering hair transplant — this should really be a last resort. The massage oil will also stop the scalp getting dry and reduce the dandruff problem. I would also recommend protein in the diet every day, as hair needs protein to grow.
