"Yes, he said he will ride the Tour de France," Jacinto Vidarte said by telephone after Spaniard Contador, who is awaiting a decision in August by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over a failed dope test last July, rode a mass event in Spain.
The Tour de France starts on July 2.
Contador said last month that he was still pondering his options, hinting he could compete in the Vuelta (Tour of Spain) instead of the Tour de France.
