PISJ-ES students told to strive for excellence

Guests at the ceremony included Pakistan's Charge d'Affaires Ayaz Khan, Consul General Abdul Salik Khan, Arab News Editor in Chief Khaled Almaeena, Link Officer at the Pakistan Consulate Qamar Siddique Raja and Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority Deputy Gov. Majed Jifri.
Praising the top achievers, Principal Sehar Kamran said she was proud of her students who have been excelling both in the school and external exams.
“We wish to strive for the best; our aim and objective is to provide the highest international standard of learning environment that can give all students equal opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills and abilities to the greatest potential,” Kamran said.
Almaeena commended the efforts of Kamran, saying: “She is a great friend of Saudi Arabia and we should support her and Pakistan.”
Almaeena advised the youth not to take things for granted and appreciate the sacrifices of their elders and parents to whom they owe gratitude for providing them a quality education. He also stressed that students should realize the efforts put in by teachers who support them.
Ayaz Khan wished PISJ-ES a bright future and praised Kamran as an outstanding principal.
“The parents, teachers and the school staff deserve commendation for the wonderful job they have done. I wish the school success both in academic and extra-curricular activities. Pakistani children will be able to rise and perform successfully on the international level. The Pakistan Embassy is proud of PISJ-ES activities,” Ayaz Khan said.
Jifri said he was highly impressed by the students. “Pakistan has a bright future. The students are not just contributing to their country but to the entire Muslim Ummah.”
Consul General Abdul Salik Khan said Pakistan is proud of its students who play the role of nation builders.
Praising the Kingdom's leadership, he said, “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has shown keen interest in the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. He helped the country when floods hit it. Pakistanis will never forget that,” he added.
The program started with the recitation from the Holy Qur'an followed by national anthems of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
