The body was formed at a meeting presided over by Consul General Abdul Salik Khan in Jeddah Wednesday night.Khan said the joint efforts of Pakistani groups would help resolve problems of the community in a better way and would also be instrumental in strengthening the existing Saudi-Pak relations. Pointing out that jointly the Pakistani groups could achieve better results, the consul general asked them to remain united, apolitical and devoted in serving their community and their country. He thanked the Saudi leadership for facilitating Pakistanis to live and work in the Kingdom comfortably. He said Pakistanis in the Kingdom were playing an important role in the economic development of the country and in strengthening relations between the Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He urged the community to fully utilize their capabilities for further strengthening and deepening this relationship.The meeting named the consul general as the patron in chief of the association. It decided to nominate a coordinator for establishing rapport and liaison among the Pakistani forums at its next meeting. The meeting was attended by presidents, secretaries-general and representatives of various Pakistani forums in the Kingdom.
