“Our products have been receiving wide reception in the market and at the end of this year our sale figures in Saudi Arabia and the UAE would touch AED220 million,” said Elekta Gulf Managing Director Rajan Mathrani.
“Currently, in addition to several service centers, we have five offices and warehouses in the Kingdom,” he said, adding that Elekta would open in Taif soon.
“We expect 100 percent growth in the Kingdom by 2012. We will soon launch our kitchen utensils called ‘Aristo’ in Jeddah and Riyadh,” said Mathrani.
His remarks came as Elekta launched new gaming consoles called "Funhom" in Dubai.
Funhom games will be available in eight countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, India and Sri Lanka.
The product line currently consists of a family game box with motion sensor technology and an extra remote control, providing multi-player gaming experience.
In the coming months, Elekta Gulf also aims to increase the product line of gaming consoles by introducing hand-held and educational games.
