The petrochemical sector added 2.27 percent to 6,273 points and Petrochemical giant Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) closed 2.33 percent higher at SR99. The banking index ended 2.15 percent higher to 14,790 points, lifted by gains in heavyweight Al-Rajhi Bank which ended 3.31 percent higher at SR70.25.The value of traded shares reached SRSR2.88 billion on Saturday.The Saudi stock market will remain closed for Eid Al-Fitr holiday from Aug. 27 (Saturday). Trading will resume after the holiday at normal market opening hours Sept. 3, according to a Tadawul announcement on its website.
